Jennifer is a first-year Master's student in the Clinical Psychology Master's Program on the Clinical Research Track at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She graduated from Weimar University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She also gained clinical experience with mental health disorders in various settings, including a 10-day residential recovery program, a medical clinic, and an acute psychiatric care facility. From 2022 to 2024, Jennifer worked as a research assistant and coordinator at the University of Florida’s Brain Health Equity and Dementia Prevention Lab. There, she managed an NIH-funded pilot study and supported community-based research focused on brain health in underserved populations. While at CSUN, Jennifer has continued to expand her research training as a BRIDGES to the PhD scholar and provides academic support to fellow students as a tutor in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Her primary research interests include the early detection of and intervention for cognitive decline due to Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders (ADRD). She plans to continue her academic journey by pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology.
